Our Legacy

A legacy built on traditional craftsmanship, and inspired by a rich family history.

Journeying from the tobacco plantations in the south of Brazil to Honduras and Panama in the early 1900’s, the fore-parents of the co- founders all forged non-traditional paths to success through entrepreneurial pursuits.

In 2019 in the Dominican Republic, a similar story was unfolding in a modern state-of-the-art facility, where artisans are producing cigars that are superior in taste and construction. Under the Legado label, Dominican craftspeople—many of them schooled by master artisans with Cuban roots—attentively roll each cigar by hand. And they are proud not only to be keeping a fading tradition alive but also to be building a legacy that opens a pathway to success for their children—one cigar at a time.
